The Gold Wing, Honda‘s flagship touring motorcycle, was launched in 1974 as a 1975 model. The original GL1000, powered by an opposed Four with shaft final drive, was the second most powerful production motorcycle at the time, runner-up to the venerable Kawasaki Z-1. Gold Wing Road Riders Association bring biker convention to Shreveport


Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau joined with Shreveport Mayor Adrian Perkins and Bossier City Mayor Tommy Chandler Thursday morning to announce an exciting convention that will be coming to the Shreveport-Bossier area in 2022. 

The Fourth of July weekend of 2022 will be a huge weekend for the Shreveport-Bossier area attracting over 6,000 people from the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.
