Lotus Type 62-2 Specifications

The modern body has retained both the general style of the 1960s car and a number of details like a kind of spoiler in the form of two “tails” behind. At the same time, the model is based on the Lotus Evora chassis with a new subframe. It is noteworthy that the dry weight of the car is only 1,000 kilograms (2,204 pounds).

The engine is also taken from the Evora, which features a 3.5-liter compressor V6 and has three different power characteristics. The sports car in the Classic version will have 430 hp. The buyers of the Gold Leaf modification will get 500 hp, and the top-end Type 62-2 JPS will get 600 hp. At the same time, for the least powerful car, it will be possible to choose a six-speed mechanical or a seven-speed robotic transmission.
