Honda Africa Twin Morocco Adventure Touring Experience

Motorcycle Sports went to Morocco, in an expedition organized by Honda, at the command of an Africa Twin 1100, for a three-day trip and a lot of adventure!

With the Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports to be equipped with DCT, side bags and top case, besides heated grips and even navigation through Android Auto connectivity, which helped a lot in this journey of 1000 kilometres in which the cold was present. 

These days were very rich in terms of culture and landscape, where we marked our presence in historical places like Ait Ben Haddou (Morocco’s most famous Ksar), always accompanied by the excellent adventure bike that is the Africa Twin Adventure Sports.

The pace, in general, was smooth in the face of the confusion on the roads, where it was necessary to adapt, and also the road surface was not always ideal, although the Africa Twin was always prepared for the challenges. Photos, videos, frolicking in the snow in spectacular valleys towards Ouarzazate were memorable experiences. On this trip we did about 900 kilometres during these three days and with the feeling that travelling by motorbike in Morocco is the best option, especially when riding a maxi-trailer on asphalt or off-road.

We travelled through mountainous areas, desert plains of red earth, even curves and counter-curves in an extremely polished asphalt, where the destination was always an incredible view, with one of the most ex-libris being the arrival at the Erg Chebbi, near Merzouga.
