The Diavel V4, star of the sixth episode of Ducati World Première 2023, is shown dressed in Style, Sport and Touring accessory packages. Three proposals designed to highlight the different souls of Ducati’s muscle cruiser.
With its refined, muscular styling and elegant lines, the new Diavel V4 is, in fact, the perfect synthesis between a maxi sport naked and a muscle cruiser, as powerful in its design as it is effective and comfortable to ride, capable of conquering riders with its agility and manoeuvrability, but also for its marked suitability for medium-haul touring, thanks to its great comfort for rider and passenger.
The Sport package includes a selection of accessories designed to underline the powerful and muscular character of the Diavel V4. The machined aluminium of the tank cap retains its original appearance over time, thanks to the high-quality anodising, and is fitted with a security system with a key with the Ducati shield to guarantee the perfect combination of safety, functionality and style.
The carbon fibre front mudguard and tank cover, together with the homologated exhaust cover completing the equipment, are details that underline the contemporary elegance of this muscle cruiser. The Diavel V4 is further enhanced with the Style package, consisting of a carbon fibre rear mudguard and a range of Ducati by Rizoma accessories, such as levers, wing mirrors, brake and clutch fluid reservoir covers and machined aluminium block oil filler cap.
Finally, the front brake callipers coloured in red or black make a big impact. Created in collaboration with Brembo, they retain the braking characteristics of the original components but are finished with a special paint that is resistant to high temperatures. Character, quality and attention to design come together in an ideal accessory to make the bike even more special.
The Touring package, on the other hand, is dedicated to Ducatisti who want to savour the ride on the Diavel V4. A set of heated grips, a pair of semi-rigid side bags and a passenger backrest maximise comfort, leaving rider and passenger free to enjoy every bend and landscape during the journey. In particular, the side bag holders are integrated, preserving the Diavel’s aesthetic and stylistic cleanliness, and can be made waterproof by applying the appropriate cover.
The most distinctive accessory for a bike with the Diavel V4’s sporty character is definitely the sports exhaust with four side-exits developed by Akrapovič. The titanium silencer with carbon protection, while ensuring excellent resistance, maximises performance, with 7% increase in maximum power and 6% increase in maximum torque. The 11 kg weight reduction combined with the increased power further extends the riding pleasure, while the distinctive sporty design embellishes the rear of the bike with an extra touch of aggression.
Those Ducatisti most passionate about performance – and sound – won’t be able to do without the STM EVO-SBK dry clutch kit, made from aluminium with a 48-tooth basket and disc set. The discs are 9 transmission and 9 sealed with a diameter of 138 mm. The dry clutch guarantees a more effective sliding function even in the most aggressive downshifts, and greater fluidity in all cut-throttle phases. An important bonus is the absence of engine oil resistance, as dust from the discs is not channelled into the lubrication circuit. The kit can be completed with a ventilated cover made of CNC machined aluminium and in anodised black, with enhances the sporty sound.
The forged aluminium rims, characterised by an ultra-modern design and an elegant, refined finish, improve both the aesthetics and dynamics of the Diavel V4. The forging process brings lightness and agility to the sculptural and muscular shapes. Dimensions correspond to those of the factory, i.e. 3.50 “x17” and 8.00 “x17”.
